No. 45: Indigo Bunting Watercolor
The indigo bunting is arguably the most brilliantly colored bird in all of Missouri. It is also one of the tiniest with a body measuring just a few inches long. Every time I see one, I consider it a special treat. This original watercolor measures 8.5"x11.5" surrounded by an 11"x14" chocolate brown matboard. This painting has been sold. I am enjoying your arrangement of composition and soft background and the birds really are painted with clarity.
