No. 68: American Goldfinches Watercolor
The american goldfinch migrates, but in a small range, so they are seen year-round in Missouri. The male (right) turns from brilliant yellow in summer to olive in winter, and the female a dull yellow, brown shade in winter, is only a slightly brighter yellow in summer. This unframed, original watercolor measures 9" x 12" surrounded by a 11" x 14" light beige matboard. This painting has been sold.
