The iris is appropriately named from the ancient Greek word for "rainbow". Their kaleidoscope of colors burst forth in early to mid-May in Missouri. This original watercolor measures 12" x 19" surrounded by a 18" x 24" ecru-colored matboard. It sells for $500 which includes shipping.
